    cursors that would help form the foundation for future redevelopment. "I think that the initial project was really, given the size and scale, a relatively modest one. If you look at Old Town Village as being a mix of retail and office and you look at the new [and] redevelopment of the old library site, I think where it starts is that was really a catalyst project," he said. THE CALL for more retail stores is a popular refrain from some members of the current City Council. A series of small independent businesses, they say, would be the economic engine that would deliver the foot traffic and commerce needed to revitalize the city.
